Ajax DoorProtect Plus Sensor inalámbrico de puerta/ventana, Blanco, pila CR123A, 3V, 60 meses de duración de la pila, 20×20×90 mm

Ajax DoorProtect Plus Wireless in white is a compact door and window opening detector designed for integration with Ajax security systems. The sensor measures 20×20×90 mm and uses RF wireless communication to report opening and tampering events to the system hub. It is powered by a preinstalled CR123A 3 V battery providing long service life and supports connection of a wired external contact for third‑party detectors. Built-in reed switches detect opening and closing, and an accelerometer senses vertical tilt, impacts and vibrations to register attempts to force or manipulate the protected entry.

Advantages

The device combines reliable magnetic detection with an accelerometer for multi‑vector intrusion sensing, allowing protection of doors, windows and even roof windows left ajar for ventilation. RF encryption, authentication and jamming detection enhance communication security with the hub. The sensor comes ready to use with the battery preinstalled and offers long battery life, reducing maintenance. A tamper alarm and the option to connect external wired detectors expand installation flexibility.

Suitable for

• Residential entry doors and windows
• Commercial office doors and storefront windows
• Roof and attic windows that may remain slightly open for ventilation
• Integration into wireless Ajax alarm systems and monitored security setups

Key specifications

• Form factor: compact surface-mounted detector, 20×20×90 mm
• Power source: CR123A 3 V battery (preinstalled)
• Battery life: up to 60 months under normal use
• Interface: RF wireless communication with hub
• Detection methods: magnetic reed switches for opening/closing, accelerometer for tilt, impact and vibration
• External input: contact for connecting a wired third‑party detector
• Color: white
• Mounting: SmartBracket-compatible surface mount

How to use

Mount the sensor and its magnet on the door or window frame and the moving leaf so that the magnetic elements align when closed, maintaining the recommended gap specified in the installation instructions. The device is supplied with the battery already installed; add it to the Ajax hub via the mobile application with a single click and follow app prompts to assign location and settings. If required, connect a wired external contact to the detector’s input according to the wiring diagram, and secure the housing on the SmartBracket to enable tamper protection.

Recommendations

Place the sensor on rigid parts of doors and windows to ensure stable magnetic contact and reliable accelerometer readings. Verify RF signal strength from the mounting point to the hub during setup and relocate either device or add a signal range extender if signal is weak. Periodically check the device status in the hub application and replace the battery when the system indicates low power.
