Compact cable drum Bachmann Profi-Kabeltrommel IronCoat 399.194 — 25 m cable, 3×1.5 mm² provides organized storage and reliable deployment of an electrical supply cable. The product combines a durable drum housing with a smooth winding mechanism to keep the 25-metre 3×1.5 mm² cable tangle-free and protected during transport and use. It is intended for environments where a safe, retrievable extension lead is needed, including construction sites, workshops and domestic projects.

Advantages

The rigid drum housing protects the cable from mechanical damage and abrasion while the winding hub allows quick reel-out and rewind, reducing cable wear. The compact form factor simplifies handling and storage, and the integrated handle supports carrying and positioning. Materials and construction are selected to withstand typical workshop and site conditions, providing consistent cable protection and longer service life compared with loose cable reels.

Suitable for

• Temporary power distribution on construction sites
• Workshop and garage electrical tools and lighting
• Home renovation and DIY projects requiring a mobile extension
• Events and outdoor tasks where a compact, stowable cable is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Cable conductor configuration: 3 conductors
• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Drum construction: rigid protective housing with winding mechanism
• Portability: integrated handle for carrying
• Typical application: power extension for tools, lighting and appliances within rated limits

How to use

Unwind the required length of cable from the drum and orient the cable so that plugs and sockets are accessible. Connect only to properly rated sockets and electrical sources. After use, disconnect power, inspect the cable for visible damage and rewind the cable evenly onto the drum to avoid kinks. Store the drum in a dry area protected from prolonged exposure to sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the cable sheath and connectors for cuts, abrasion or deformation before each use. Do not exceed the load rating of the cable and avoid permanent outdoor exposure without additional protection. When using on construction sites, keep the drum elevated or protected from direct mechanical impact and moisture to maintain safe operation.
