Alicate para anillos de seguridad Knipex 49 21 A11

The Knipex 49 21 A11 Circlip Pliers are compact, heavy-duty pliers designed for reliable work with internal circlips. Constructed from forged chrome vanadium electric steel with oil hardening, and fitted with drawn spring-steel inserted tips, these pliers offer long service life and precise operation in continuous use. At 130 mm length and 102 g weight, they combine strength with easy handling; non-slip plastic handles and an internal protected opening spring improve user control.

Advantages

Inserted tips give up to ten times longer service life compared to turned tips and provide large contact faces to prevent distortion of circlips and allow easier fitting. The bolted joint ensures precise, zero-backlash action while the internal opening spring is protected and captive. The pliers body is made of chrome vanadium electric steel, forged and oil-hardened, and the handles have a non-slip plastic coating for improved grip.

Suitable for

• Installing and removing internal circlips in machinery and assemblies
• Maintenance and repair tasks in automotive and industrial applications
• Precision mechanical work and DIY projects requiring compact circlip pliers

How to use

Select the pliers for internal circlips of appropriate size. Place the inserted tips into the circlip's holes or notches, squeeze the handles to compress the circlip, then carefully remove or position the circlip as required. Release the handles slowly to avoid sudden movement. The internal opening spring helps return the pliers to the open position between operations.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the bolted joint clean and periodically check tightness. Avoid using the pliers on hardened pins or fasteners not intended for circlips. Store in a dry place and protect the tips from deformation to maintain long service life.
