Omnitronic ODC-244T Black 100W IP65 is an outdoor column speaker designed for public-address and background-music applications. The slim column form factor directs sound to target areas, while the IP65-rated enclosure protects internal components from rain and dust. With 100 W nominal power handling and a weatherproof design, this speaker is intended for continuous use in outdoor venues, terraces, walkways and commercial spaces where reliable speech intelligibility and even music distribution are required.

Advantages

How to use

Mount the speaker on a suitable wall or pole using the recommended hardware and mounting bracket, ensuring the column is oriented toward the listening area for best coverage. Connect to a compatible amplifier or PA system using appropriate outdoor-rated cabling and maintain correct impedance matching per the amplifier specifications. Adjust system volume and any tone controls at the amplifier to achieve clear speech intelligibility and balanced background music levels. Periodically inspect mounting points and cable entries for signs of wear or water ingress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position multiple units to provide even coverage in larger areas rather than relying on a single high-power speaker. Use outdoor-rated cables and connectors, and follow local regulations for outdoor sound levels to avoid disturbance. Regularly check the IP seals and clean the exterior to maintain weather resistance.
