Altavoz portátil estéreo Edifier MP230WT 2.0, 20 W, altavoz de banda ancha, USB-C, con cable e inalámbrico, blanco

The Edifier MP230WT is a stereo portable speaker with 2.0 audio channels and two full-range 4.8 cm drivers in a compact rectangular white housing. It delivers a combined RMS power of 20 W (10 W per speaker) and covers a frequency range from 70 to 13,000 Hz. The unit supports both wired and wireless connectivity, including Bluetooth and a USB Type-C input, and incorporates a built-in rechargeable battery for portable use. The design echoes vintage radios with piano-key style buttons and a wood-effect enclosure that combines classic looks with modern digital signal processing and Class-D amplification.

Advantages

The MP230WT offers a balanced combination of compact portability and stereo sound performance thanks to its two full-range drivers and dual passive radiator. Bluetooth 5.0 ensures stable wireless connections with lower power consumption, while USB-C and auxiliary inputs provide wired playback options. The integrated 2500 mAh battery enables extended playback time up to approximately 9 hours per charge. Physical controls modelled on piano keys and a wooden enclosure contribute to a tactile, retro aesthetic while DSP and a Class-D amplifier aim to keep distortion low and clarity high.

Suitable for

• Listening to music at home in small rooms or apartments
• Portable use during small gatherings or outdoor picnics
• Desktop or bedside audio for podcasts, streaming and video playback
• Users who prefer a retro aesthetic with simple physical controls

When it may not be suitable

This speaker is designed for compact, everyday use and small social situations; it is not intended for large venues, professional studio monitoring, or deep sub-bass heavy applications. Users requiring very high output levels, extended low-frequency response below 70 Hz, or advanced multi-room features should consider larger or specialized systems.

Pair a Bluetooth device by enabling Bluetooth on the source and selecting the MP230WT from the available devices. Adjust volume and playback with the tactile piano-key style buttons on the front panel. Charge the internal battery via the USB-C port using a compatible charger; charging status is indicated by the unit’s LED indicators. For steady placement, position the speaker on a flat surface using the supplied foot pads to minimise vibration.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended listening environment: best suited for small rooms and personal use
• Low-frequency expectations: frequency response starts at 70 Hz, so deep bass is limited
• Connectivity needs: includes Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C and AUX; verify required inputs
• Battery runtime: up to around 9 hours per charge depending on volume and source

Recommendations

Place the speaker on a stable, elevated surface away from walls for a clearer stereo image. Use wired connections for maximum reliability when streaming high-bitrate audio, and keep the unit charged before extended mobile use. Clean the exterior with a dry cloth and avoid exposing the speaker to moisture or direct sunlight to maintain enclosure and control longevity.
