How to use

Position the mounting plate where the Eheim 1046 or 1048 housing will be installed, aligning the plate so inlet and outlet connections can be routed without kinks. Secure the plate to the chosen surface using appropriate screws or fasteners for the furniture material; ensure fasteners are rated for the load and environment. Place the filter housing onto the plate and verify the fit is stable before connecting hoses and powering the filter. After installation, check for correct alignment of hoses and that the housing sits flush to prevent stress on connections.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant fasteners in humid or marine environments and periodically inspect the mounting and hose connections for signs of wear or loosening. Follow Eheim's instructions for filter mounting and maintenance to ensure long-term performance and safe operation.
