Key specifications

• Game type: Abstract strategy board game
• Players: 2 players
• Average playtime: 20 minutes
• Recommended minimum age: 8 years
• Number of unique playing pieces: 16 (each with four binary attributes)

How to use

Begin by placing the 4x4 board in the centre and arranging the 16 pieces available for selection. Players decide who will choose the first piece to hand to the opponent for placement. On each turn a player selects a piece and gives it to the opponent, who must place it on any empty square. The goal is to create a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of four pieces that share at least one attribute. If no line is formed and all squares are filled, the game ends in a draw. Rules are straightforward and explained on the instruction sheet included in the box.

Recommendations

For better learning outcomes, play several short rounds and discuss tactic choices to develop reasoning skills. Use the game as a warm-up for logic exercises or as a timed practice to improve decision speed. Store pieces in the original box or a small pouch to protect components when transporting.
