ATEN extensor USB 2.0 de 4 puertos sobre LAN

The ATEN UEH4102 Network transmitter & receiver is a USB 2.0 extender over LAN that allows USB peripheral devices to be located beyond the standard 5 m USB cable limit. The kit delivers true USB 2.0 performance at up to 480 Mbps across a Gigabit Ethernet LAN and includes pre-paired Local and Remote units matched by MAC address for simplified installation. Housed in a metal casing and compatible with major operating systems, the UEH4102 supports USB peripherals such as keyboards, mice, interactive whiteboards, flash drives, external hard drives, audio devices and webcams.

Advantages

The UEH4102 provides a plug-and-play solution requiring no driver installation or manual pairing; it extends USB 2.0 signals up to 100 meters over standard Cat5e/6 cabling while maintaining data rates up to 480 Mbps. The units are pre-paired by MAC address for quick deployment, come in a compact metal housing for durability, and include USB cables for immediate connectivity. The extender supports a wide range of USB devices for flexible use in office, classroom or industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse) at a distance
• Extending storage devices (flash drives, external HDDs) over LAN
• Remote webcams and audio devices for conferencing or monitoring
• Interactive whiteboard connections in classrooms and meeting rooms

How to use

Connect the Local unit to the host computer via the supplied USB cable and connect the Remote unit to the USB peripheral you wish to extend. Link the Local and Remote units using a Gigabit Ethernet cable (Cat5e/6) up to 100 m. Power both units as required, then the devices will be recognised automatically by the operating system without additional drivers or pairing steps. Verify that the network infrastructure supports Gigabit speeds for full performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use Cat6 or higher-grade Ethernet cabling and a Gigabit-capable switch or direct cabling to ensure reliable 480 Mbps operation. Avoid linking multiple network segments with bandwidth limitations, and place units away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Check USB peripheral compatibility with USB 2.0 host speeds where necessary.
