Barox AC-SFP-BIB-FXME - Fibra óptica - 100 Mbit/s - SFP - 9/125 µm - 2000 m - 1550 nm

For network engineers seeking a compact and efficient Fast Ethernet uplink, the BAROX AC-SFP-BIB-FXME stands out with its bi-directional (BiDi) design—using a single strand of single-mode fiber to deliver 100 Mbit/s over distances up to 2 km. This SFP module eliminates the need for paired fibers, cutting cabling costs and simplifying deployment in space-constrained or existing single-fiber infrastructures.

Highlights

• Bi-directional (BiDi) transmission over one LC simplex single-mode fiber
• 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet, 100 Mbit/s data rate
• 1550 nm transmit wavelength, 9/125 µm core/cladding
• Maximum reach: 2000 m (2 km)
• Hot-swappable SFP form factor with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM)
• 3.3V power supply, IEEE 802.3u compliant

In daily use

Install the AC-SFP-BIB-FXME into any standard SFP port on a switch or media converter and connect a single-mode fiber with LC simplex connector. The module locks in place and immediately establishes a 100 Mbit/s link, ideal for extending networks between buildings or connecting remote endpoints without running new multi-fiber cables. DDM provides real-time monitoring of optical output, temperature, and voltage, enabling proactive maintenance.
