Barra de extensión de buje Moza Racing Moza Racing barra de extensión

The Moza Racing Extension Rod increases the distance between your wheel base and steering wheel by 150 mm, offering a more realistic steering-column feel while remaining compatible with multiple Moza base models (R21, R16, R12, R9, R5, R3). Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in black, this 15 cm extension rod is lightweight (0.7 kg) and dimensioned to integrate with your existing sim rig without changing the quick-release functionality.

Advantages

The extension provides a 15 cm increase in shaft length to better replicate a real racing car’s steering column and to allow hiding the base behind a dashboard or monitor for a cleaner appearance. CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, the rod offers low rotational inertia due to its lightweight construction. The quick-release mechanism remains fully usable, enabling fast wheel swaps while preserving stability and ergonomics.

Suitable for

• Home or studio sim rigs that need a longer wheel shaft
• Setups where the base should be concealed behind a dashboard or monitor
• Users of Moza bases R21, R16, R12, R9, R5, and R3

Key specifications

• Extension length: 150 mm (15 cm)
• Material: aerospace-grade aluminum alloy (CNC-machined)
• Weight: 0.7 kg
• Colour: Black
• Compatible models: Moza R21, R16, R12, R9, R5, R3
• Retains quick-release wheel mechanism

How to use

Install the extension rod between your wheel base and steering wheel by attaching it to the base shaft and then mounting the wheel or quick-release hub to the rod. Ensure all fastenings are tightened to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations and verify that the quick-release engages correctly. After installation, check steering alignment and secure cable routing before use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the extension with supported Moza base models listed above and periodically check mounting bolts for tightness. Avoid exposing the rod to corrosive environments and follow standard sim-rig maintenance to preserve low rotational inertia and secure wheel attachment.
