How to use

Power down the laptop and disconnect any external power source before starting the replacement. Position the new battery in the same orientation, reconnect the battery cable to the board, and reassemble the bottom cover. After first installation, charge the battery to full capacity while the system is powered off or on according to Lenovo’s charging guidance to allow the battery management system to calibrate.

Recommendations

Use the battery in compatible devices and follow Lenovo’s service documentation during installation. Calibrate occasionally by charging to full and discharging partially to help the system estimate remaining capacity. Avoid exposure to high temperatures and prolonged storage at full charge for long-term longevity. Dispose of the old battery according to local regulations for electronic waste and batteries.
