Batería recargable Varta 55615 603 059

The Varta 55615 603 059 is a Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery with a nominal voltage of 3.6 V designed for repeated use in a range of household and portable devices. It delivers consistent power output suitable for devices with moderate continuous drain and offers a sustainable alternative to single-use cells by allowing many charge/discharge cycles. The battery is intended to be used with compatible chargers designed for NiMH chemistries and provides a practical option where replaceable, rechargeable power is required.

Advantages

This rechargeable NiMH battery provides stable voltage during discharge and supports multiple recharge cycles, reducing the need for disposable batteries. Its chemistry offers lower self-discharge compared with older NiMH variants, enabling longer storage between uses when charged. The battery's reusable design contributes to lower household waste and ongoing cost savings over time compared with single-use cells.

Suitable for

• Battery-powered toys and electronic games
• TV and media remote controls
• Portable audio devices and small household electronics
• Wireless computer peripherals and some cordless tools with compatible voltage

Key specifications

• Chemistry: Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH)
• Nominal voltage: 3.6 V
• Rechargeable: yes
• Form factor: cylindrical rechargeable cell suitable for devices accepting this voltage
• Intended use: moderate continuous to intermittent power drain applications

How to use

Charge the battery using a charger specifically designed for NiMH cells and follow the charger manufacturer’s instructions for charging currents and times. Insert the battery into compatible devices observing correct polarity. For best performance, allow a full charge cycle before first use and avoid mixing charged and discharged batteries in the same device. After use, recharge the battery before storage if you plan to use it again within a few months.

Recommendations

Store charged batteries in a cool, dry place and avoid exposure to high temperatures. Use a smart charger with temperature or delta-V detection where possible to prevent overcharging. Replace the battery when run time becomes noticeably shorter despite correct charging, as rechargeable cells have a finite number of effective cycles.
