This PV DC switch is a 2-pole moulded-case circuit breaker rated at 250 A and 500 V DC, designed for solar battery energy storage systems (BESS) and UPS applications. Suitable for both charging and discharging with no restriction on switching direction, it is mainly used in large solar power systems featuring a PV disconnect box, inverter and DC power distribution cabinet, and is also suited to EV charging stations and commercial battery storage. It can be used in earthed or unearthed systems and complies with IEC standards for protecting and isolating DC circuits up to 500 V and 250 A rated operating current. It protects against overload, short circuit and infrequent switching, and is tested in extreme conditions from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
