BlueOptics cable de fibra óptica / InfiniBand SFP28 25 m, aqua, conector macho-conector macho

BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-25M-BO is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 25 Gbit/s links over multimode fiber. The 25 m aqua-coloured cable provides a factory-terminated, male-to-male SFP28 connection that follows SFP28/25GBASE-SR4 class expectations and is intended for data center interconnects, switch-to-switch and server connections where optical AOC cabling is required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics active optical cable integrates transmitter and receiver modules in each connector end, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and reducing installation complexity. The 25 m length supports flexible rack-to-rack routing while preserving 25 Gbit/s data throughput. Aqua colouring helps with physical identification in dense cabling environments, and the standardized SFP28 interfaces ensure compatibility with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOC connections.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on the devices to be connected, following the devices’ hot-plug and handling instructions. Ensure ports are powered down or follow your hardware vendor’s recommended insertion procedure if hot-plugging. Route the 25 m cable along rack management channels or cable trays to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Verify link negotiation and speed on both endpoints after connection.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid bending the cable below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, keep the aqua-coloured fiber away from high-heat sources, and maintain clean connector endfaces. Use this AOC in environments and on equipment that explicitly support SFP28 active optical cables and multimode 25G links.
