Broca Bosch 2 608 597 623 longitud 235 mm

The Bosch 2 608 597 623 drill bit, length 235 mm, is designed for precision drilling in a range of wood types. It fits drills with a 13 mm chuck and is suitable for through-holes, pre-drilling for rafter nails and for creating deep dowel holes. The bit is precision-ground to maintain accurate dimensions and provides a fast drilling rate thanks to its optimised flute geometry while delivering a fine surface finish and high break resistance.

Advantages

Precision-ground construction ensures dimensional stability during drilling. Optimised flute geometry gives a fast drilling rate and efficient chip removal. High break resistance increases tool life under demanding conditions. Compatible with all drills that have a 13 mm chuck and produces a fine surface finish on both soft and hard woods, including wet wood.

How to use

Secure the drill bit in a drill with a 13 mm chuck. Mark the drilling position and, if required, clamp the workpiece to prevent movement. Start drilling at low speed to obtain a straight entry, then increase speed as appropriate for the material. For deep holes, withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips and maintain drilling efficiency. After use, clean chips from the flutes and store the bit in a protective case.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Bosch 2 608 597 623 bit with steady drilling pressure and appropriate clamp support. When drilling wet wood, allow for slower feed rate to avoid clogging; when drilling hard wood, use consistent speed and remove chips frequently.
