Broca Bosch 2608663314

The Bosch 2608663314 drill bit is a high-carbon steel (HCS) side set bit designed for clean, controlled drilling in softwood, boards, thick construction timber and sandwich materials. It combines precise tip geometry with robust construction to deliver consistent results for trade and home projects.

Advantages

This HCS side set drill bit provides reliable durability and good wear resistance for woodworking applications. Its ground cutting edges and optimized geometry reduce splintering and improve hole quality in softwood, boards and layered sandwich materials. The bit is compatible with standard chucks and offers stable performance when used for thick construction timber.

Suitable for

• Drilling clean holes in softwood
• Working with wooden boards and panels
• Drilling through thick construction timber
• Creating holes in sandwich and composite materials

How to use

Secure the Bosch 2608663314 drill bit in a compatible drill chuck. Select an appropriate drilling speed for the wood type—lower speeds for hard or thick timber, higher speeds for softwood. Apply steady pressure and keep the drill perpendicular to the workpiece for accurate, clean holes. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips when drilling deep holes.

Recommendations

For best results, pre-drill pilot holes when working near edges or in thin boards to prevent splitting. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure the workpiece is clamped securely before drilling.
