The Walimex 18429 studio easel is an aluminium, portable support for canvases up to a maximum height of 122 cm. It combines a lightweight construction with stable design and quick-release levers for easy adjustment. The easel includes a canvas shelf with a 2 cm depth, an integrated tray for paints and a brush holder that fits brushes of various diameters. Rubber feet improve grip and the three-segment legs reduce folded size for transport; a carrying bag is included.

Advantages

The aluminium frame keeps the easel light while providing stability and a maximum load capacity of approximately 6 kg. Quick-release levers allow fast height and angle adjustments. The furrowed canvas shelf, paint tray and multi-diameter brush holder organise tools within reach. Rubber feet prevent slipping and the three-segment legs make the easel compact and transport-friendly.

For outdoor work fold the legs, place the easel in the carrying bag and transport as needed.

Recommendations

For longer painting sessions avoid overloading the shelf—keep total weight near or below the stated maximum load (approx. 6 kg). When using outdoors, place the easel on firm ground and check that quick-release levers are fully tightened before use to ensure stability.
