Advantages

The Bachmann 398.186 offers a long 50 m reach and three AC outlets to power several devices from one supply. The earthing contact central plug ensures proper grounding for connected equipment. A black cable wound on a silver reel provides a durable and tidy solution for temporary outdoor power distribution. The IP20 rating indicates basic protection against solid objects.

Suitable for

• Outdoor events and temporary power setups (weather exposure limited due to IP20)
• Garden maintenance equipment with mains connection
• Construction sites for powering small tools at distance
• Workshops and garages requiring extended cable reach

How to use

Unwind the required length of cable from the reel and position the reel on a stable, dry surface. Plug the earthing contact central plug into a suitable mains socket that provides the correct voltage and grounding. Connect appliances to the three AC outlets, ensuring each device's power rating does not exceed the cable or outlet specifications. After use, disconnect devices, remove the plug from the mains, and rewind the cable onto the reel for storage.

Recommendations

Do not expose the cable or reel to heavy rain or submersion as the IP20 rating does not provide protection against water. Avoid overloading the outlets — check individual appliance power consumption against the extension cable's rated capacity. Use on a flat, dry surface and store indoors when not in use to prolong service life.
