Cable de conexión patch slimline para datacenter ACT rojo de 1 metro LSZH U/FTP CAT6A con protección de lengüeta y conectores macho RJ45

The ACT Red 1 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable is a slimline Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in datacenter and network rack environments. The cable uses U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features gold-plated RJ-45 connectors. Its reduced diameter (approx. 3.8 mm) and lower bending radius improve airflow and allow denser cable routing compared with standard CAT6A patch cords.

Advantages

The slimline construction offers a smaller diameter than regular CAT6A patch cords, which supports better airflow in cabinets and space-efficient installations. U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke and toxic emission risk in case of fire. When used as 32 AWG patch cords, the cable exhibits higher attenuation at higher frequencies, so link planning should account for this characteristic.

Suitable for

• Datacenter patching and high-density racks
• Network cabinets and switches with limited space
• Short permanent links and patching up to 1 m
• Environments requiring low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) materials

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/FTP CAT6A slimline
• Length: 1 m
• Diameter: approx. 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated
• Jacket: LSZH
• Colour: Red
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC7501 / 8716065442069

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your switch, patch panel or network device and the other end to the target device. Route the slimline cable through rack channels or cable management trays, keeping bending within the cable's recommended radius. For installations using Power over Ethernet (PoE), follow bundle size guidance and monitor temperatures as specified by your system design.

Recommendations

ACT recommends considering shorter permanent link lengths than with standard 24 AWG patch cords to accommodate higher attenuation of 32 AWG slimline cables. For PoE applications, limit bundled cables to a maximum of 24 to avoid excessive temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A restricts the temperature increase for the centre cable to less than 15°C above ambient.
