Cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand BlueOptics AV1J-BO 15 m SFP28 conector macho conector macho

The BlueOptics AV1J-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m SFP28 Male Male is a high-speed duplex optical link designed for use in data centers and high-performance computing environments. With SFP28-compatible male connectors on both ends and a 15-metre length, this cable provides reliable low-latency connectivity for server-to-switch, switch-to-switch, or switch-to-storage links where InfiniBand performance and signal integrity are required.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable supports high data rates and maintains signal quality across its 15 m length, reducing bit error rates and ensuring consistent throughput. The SFP28 male-to-male terminations provide straightforward compatibility with equipment that accepts SFP28 InfiniBand transceivers or direct SFP28 ports. Its optical construction minimises electromagnetic interference and enables longer reach and cleaner signals compared with copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting servers and switches in data centers using InfiniBand links
• High-performance computing clusters requiring low-latency optical connections
• Switch-to-switch uplinks and connections to storage arrays with SFP28 ports

Key specifications

• Cable type: duplex fibre optic designed for InfiniBand
• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Length: 15 metres
• Transmission medium: optical fibre for low attenuation and EMI immunity
• Typical applications: high-speed data interconnects and low-latency links

How to use

Install the BlueOptics AV1J-BO by inserting each SFP28 male connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your devices, ensuring proper seating and latching according to the equipment manufacturer’s guidance. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by your system or fibre cable standards. Verify link status at both ends and monitor for errors after commissioning to confirm stable connectivity.

Recommendations

Choose this 15 m SFP28 fibre cable when a direct optical InfiniBand connection is required between devices separated by moderate distances within racks or across adjacent rows. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive tension, sharp bends, or sources of physical damage; perform visual inspections periodically and clean connector endfaces before mating to maintain optimal signal performance.
