Cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP25G-AOC15M-TG-BO 15 m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics SFP25G-AOC15M-TG-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 15 m active optical cable with SFP28 connectors, designed for high-speed links in data centers and networking environments. It uses multi-mode fibre with integrated transmitter and receiver assemblies at each end to support 25G data rates over a 15 metre reach. The aqua-coloured jacket provides visual identification in patching environments while conforming to industry multi-source agreement (MSA) connector standards.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers consistent 25G performance for InfiniBand and Ethernet applications and is backward-compatible with equipment that supports SFP28 SFP+ form factors. The integrated optical transceivers reduce the need for separate pluggable modules, simplifying installation and reducing connector loss. Its 15 m length covers common top-of-rack to aggregation switch runs and helps maintain signal integrity across multi-mode fibre links.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links in data centres
• High-speed InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnects up to 25G
• Short-reach multimode fibre connections in rack deployments

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 compatible
• Technology: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with integrated transceivers
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Distance / reach: 15 metres over multimode fibre
• Cable jacket colour: aqua

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support 25G operation and the SFP28 form factor. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it to maintain proper bend radius as recommended for multimode fibre. No additional transceiver modules or patch cords are required beyond the two integrated ends.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility for SFP28/AOC support before deployment and test the link after installation. Maintain multimode fibre handling best practices: avoid sharp bends, protect connector endfaces from contamination, and perform cleaning if necessary. Use the 15 m length for intra-rack or short inter-rack connections within data centre topologies.
