Cable de fibra óptica METZ CONNECT 151P7JAJAA5E LC I-V(ZN) H 15 m Blanco

The METZ CONNECT 151P7JAJAA5E LC I-V(ZN) H fibre optic cable, 15 m in length and finished in white, is built for reliable single-mode optical connections. Equipped with LC connectors on both ends and using G.657.A2 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter, this cable supports high-speed data transmission and is suited for installations where bend insensitivity and compact connectors are required. The I-V(ZN) H jacket construction balances flexibility and mechanical protection for indoor routing and patching.

Advantages

This 15 m LC–LC fibre optic cable offers low attenuation and stable single-mode performance due to its G.657.A2 fibre type and 9 µm core. The LC connectors provide a small form factor for high-density patch panels and equipment ports. The I-V(ZN) H cable design delivers improved bending performance and a durable jacket that facilitates installation in constrained spaces while maintaining signal integrity. The white outer colour allows discreet integration in many indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Indoor backbone and horizontal optical cabling in office and data centre environments
• Connecting transceivers, switches and SFP modules with LC interfaces
• Patching in high-density distribution panels and fibre patch cabinets
• Installations requiring bend-insensitive fibre routing through trays and conduits

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: LC to LC
• Cable length: 15 m
• Cable jacket type: I-V(ZN) H
• Colour: White

How to use

Route the fibre cable following standard indoor cabling practices, avoiding sharp bends beyond the specified minimum bend radius for G.657.A2 fibres. Clean connector endfaces before connection and insert the LC connectors into compatible ports or patch panels until they click into place. For permanent installations, secure the cable along trays or with appropriate ties, ensuring no excessive compression or kinking occurs. Test the link after installation using suitable optical test equipment to verify attenuation and continuity.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the housing and avoid touching endfaces. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use, perform endface inspection and cleaning before mating, and maintain bends within recommended radii to preserve performance and longevity.
