Cable de fibra óptica patch Intellinet, OM4, LC/SC, 2 m, Violeta, Dúplex, Multimodo, 50/125 µm, LSZH, Fibra, garantía de por vida

The Intellinet Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM4 LC/SC 2m Violet Duplex Multimode is a 2-meter multimode patch cable with LC and SC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this OM4 fibre provides low loss and supports long-distance links typical for multimode networks. The cable is LSZH-compliant and comes with a lifetime warranty for dependable installation in data centres, telecom closets and enterprise networks.

Advantages

OM4 multimode fibre offers superior transmission distance and higher bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode types, enabling reliable links over extended runs. Fiber optic transmission is immune to electromagnetic interference and contains no metallic conductors, allowing installation near power lines and railway infrastructure without signal degradation. Optical signals carried within the fibre are not detectable remotely, which improves physical security for sensitive applications.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-range high-speed connections in data centres and server rooms
• Patching between switches, transceivers and distribution panels (LC ↔ SC)
• Enterprise and campus networks requiring LSZH cabling

How to use

Route the cable between the desired LC and SC ports, ensuring connector orientation matches the equipment ports. Use cable management panels or Velcro straps to avoid excessive bending; observe the fibre’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation or damage. Inspect connectors for contamination and clean if necessary before insertion to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

Install OM4 multimode for short- to medium-distance high-bandwidth links, avoid sharp bends, secure connectors in appropriate adapters or panels, and choose LSZH cable where low smoke and halogen-free properties are required.
