Cable de red DeLOCK 80557 RJ-45 Cat8.1 0,5 m gris

The DeLOCK 80557 networking cable is a 0.5 m grey RJ-45 patch cable manufactured to Cat8.1 specification. It supports data transfer rates up to 40 Gbps and is designed for high-frequency Ethernet applications up to 2 GHz. The cable features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for standard network connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external EMI, enabling reliable high-speed transmissions. Compliance with Cat8.1 ensures support for 40GBASE-T Ethernet at frequencies up to 2 GHz. The short 0.5 m length minimises excess cable in dense setups, and standard RJ-45 connectors make the cable compatible with common network devices.

Suitable for

• 40GBASE-T Ethernet connections
• High-speed links between switches, servers and network appliances
• Short patch runs in server rooms and data cabinets
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s (40 Gbps)
• Frequency: up to 2 GHz
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on devices such as switches, servers or routers until the latch clicks. Use the cable for short patching runs where a 0.5 m length is appropriate. Ensure connectors and ports are free of dust and damage before connecting to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 cable for short high-speed links (up to 0.5 m) in data centres or network racks and avoid running it parallel to high-power electrical cables to reduce possible interference.
