Cable de red Goobay 92459 negro 0,15 m Cat6 S/FTP

Goobay 92459 is a 0.15 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable with two RJ45 connectors designed for short, reliable connections between network components. The cable uses PIMF (pairs in metal foil) plus an outer braided shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and is fitted with 3 µ gold-plated pins and a slimline strain relief with length indication. Pair sequence follows EIA/TIA 568B and the connector latches have additional protection.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction (PIMF + braiding) provides strong protection against crosstalk and external interference, while the Cat6 specification supports higher data rates compared with earlier categories. Gold-plated 3 µ pins improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Its short 0.15 m length and slimline strain relief make it suitable for tight installation spaces and neat cable routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and patch panels over short distances
• Linking devices in rack units or desktop setups with limited space
• Permanent or temporary patch connections in home or office networks

Key specifications

• Brand: WENTRONIC (Goobay)
• Model / MPN: 92459
• EAN: 4040849924590
• Length: 0.15 m
• Category: Cat6 (tested)
• Shielding: S/FTP — PIMF (pairs in metal foil) + braided outer shield
• Connector type: 2 × RJ45 with latch protection
• Contact plating: 3 µ gold
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568B

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices (for example, switch to router, patch panel to switch or device to wall socket). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the short 0.15 m length to minimize cable slack and improve cable management in confined spaces; avoid excessive bending near the strain relief to preserve shielding and connector integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short patch runs where shielding is required to limit interference. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines and do not subject connectors to repeated heavy mechanical stress. Verify device port compatibility with RJ45 and EIA/TIA 568B wiring standard.
