Cable de red GOOBAY CAT5e 1,5 m RJ-45 — rojo

GOOBAY CAT5e 1.5 m networking cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends provides a compact, visible connection option for home and office Ethernet setups. The cable conforms to Cat5e performance levels for standard 100BASE-TX and Gigabit-capable links within typical short-reach installations. Its 1.5 m length and red outer sheath make it suitable where a short, easily identifiable patch cable is required for routers, switches, PCs and other networked devices.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat5e-compliant electrical characteristics to support reliable data transmission at 100 Mbps and appropriate environments for 1 Gbps operation over short distances. The RJ-45 plugs on both ends provide universal compatibility with Ethernet ports, while the red sheath improves visual cable management and identification in multi-cable installations. Its compact length reduces excess slack and helps keep workspaces tidy.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to a router or switch
• Patching between wall outlets and networking equipment in small offices
• Temporary network connections for testing and diagnostics
• Color-coded cable runs to simplify port and device identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Typical applications: Ethernet 100BASE-TX, suitable for short-reach Gigabit links
• Outer sheath colour: Red

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the 1.5 m length for close-proximity connections between network equipment such as routers, switches and computers. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal signal quality. If routing through cable channels, ensure the bend radius is not exceeded.

Recommendations

For best results in multi-device environments, use the red colour to mark specific segments or device groups. Replace the cable if the sheath or connectors show visible damage, and choose a higher-category cable (e.g., Cat6) for guaranteed sustained 1 Gbps performance over longer distances.
