Cable DisplayPort 1.1 Lindy 15 m, Anthra Line

The Lindy 15m DisplayPort 1.1 Cable (model 36487) is a high-performance cable designed for reliable transmission of video and audio between DisplayPort-enabled devices. Part of Lindy’s Anthra Line, the cable features triple-shielded construction with 26 AWG tinned copper conductors and gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and resist corrosion. The black 15 m lead is suitable for longer installations in commercial AV, IT or home setups and is RoHS compliant. Resolutions up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz are supported.

Advantages

Triple shielding and 26AWG tinned copper conductors provide improved protection against interference and long-term corrosion resistance. Gold-plated contacts and robust connectors ensure stable signal transfer and reliable physical connection. The 15 m length offers flexibility for larger room layouts and professional AV installations while maintaining DisplayPort 1.1 compatibility across DisplayPort-enabled devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers to monitors over longer distances (up to 15 m)
• Commercial AV installations in meeting rooms and classrooms
• IT setups where DisplayPort 1.1 compatibility is required
• Home office or multimedia setups that need extended cable runs

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, laptop, or media player) and the other to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the cable routing avoids tight bends or sharp edges to preserve cable integrity. When using long runs, secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors and devices.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or heavy machinery cabling to reduce potential electromagnetic interference. Inspect connectors before installation and replace the cable if any physical damage is visible. For resolutions higher than 1920x1200 or newer DisplayPort features, consider a cable specified for a newer DisplayPort version.
