Cable DisplayPort 1.4 Claroc CLAROC-DP-14-30M 30 m 8K

DisplayPort 1.4 cable Claroc CLAROC-DP-14-30M 30 m 8K is a high-bandwidth video and audio connection cable designed to link compatible PCs, graphics cards and monitors across long distances. With a 30-meter length and support for DisplayPort 1.4 features, the cable preserves signal integrity for high-resolution content up to 8K and enables multi-channel audio transmission. It is intended for environments that require extended reach without compromising display quality, such as professional workstations, digital signage, multimedia installations and home theater setups.

Advantages

The Claroc DisplayPort 1.4 cable provides stable transmission over a 30 m run while supporting high resolutions and refresh rates permitted by the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. Its design focuses on preserving video bandwidth and audio channels across long distances, reducing the need for repeaters or active extenders in many installations. The cable is compatible with standard DisplayPort connectors and is suitable for direct connections between video sources and displays when physical cable routing is required.

Suitable for

• Professional workstations and CAD/3D design stations requiring high-resolution displays
• Digital signage and public displays with long cable runs
• Multimedia production and post-production suites
• Home theaters and entertainment systems where long cable routing is needed
• Conference rooms and presentation environments with remote display placement

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 compatible connector
• Maximum resolution support: up to 8K (as supported by DisplayPort 1.4 source and sink)
• Cable length: 30 meters
• Signal support: high-bandwidth video and multi-channel digital audio
• Use case: designed for long-distance point-to-point display connections

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on the PC, graphics card or video source and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate; configure the output resolution in the host device’s display settings if necessary. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; verify that connectors are fully seated for reliable signal transmission. If the connected devices or cable run do not achieve the expected performance, check source and display capabilities and consider signal conditioning or active extension solutions.

Recommendations

For best results, confirm that both source and display support DisplayPort 1.4 features for 8K operation and use appropriate display settings. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain gentle bend radii to protect internal conductors; when installing in permanent or exposed runs, use cable management to prevent mechanical stress.
