Cable DisplayPort ROLINE DP - UHDTV macho/macho 2 m

The ROLINE DisplayPort Cable DP - UHDTV M/M 2m is a two-meter DisplayPort cable designed to transmit high-resolution video and digital audio between a PC or laptop and a UHDTV or monitor. The cable features male DisplayPort connectors on both ends and a black outer jacket. Built to meet common environmental standards, it provides a reliable physical connection for demanding multimedia tasks that require stable signal integrity over a 2 m distance.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable supports high-definition video transmission and digital audio in a single connection, reducing cable clutter and simplifying setup. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desktop and living-room layouts without excessive slack. The male-to-male DisplayPort connectors provide a secure fit with compatible ports, and the black finish blends unobtrusively with most AV setups. Compliance with RoHS standards ensures reduced use of hazardous substances.

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort male connector to the DisplayPort output of your computer or graphics card and the other end to the DisplayPort input on your monitor or UHDTV. Ensure both devices are powered off or in a safe configuration during initial insertion to avoid connector damage. After connecting, power on the devices and select the correct input on the display. Adjust resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or graphics driver settings to match the capabilities of your display for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or near large sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 2 m length to maintain tidy cable routing; if a longer run is required, choose an appropriately rated cable. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and ensure firm seating in the DisplayPort sockets.
