Cable DisplayPort ShiverPeaks 03-20055, DisplayPort 1.4, 5 m

DisplayPort cable ShiverPeaks 03-20055, DisplayPort 1.4, 5 m is a five-metre DisplayPort 1.4 link designed to connect computers, monitors and other DisplayPort-enabled devices. The cable implements the DisplayPort 1.4 interface specification to carry high-bandwidth video and audio signals over a single connection, providing the reach required for desktop, multi-monitor and office or home display setups where a longer cable run is necessary.

Advantages

The cable supports the bandwidth and features defined by DisplayPort 1.4, allowing transmission of high-resolution video and multi-channel audio through a single connector. With a 5 m length, it enables flexible placement of monitors and equipment without relying on extenders. The single-cable solution reduces cable clutter while maintaining digital signal integrity for typical office and home installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a monitor at a distance up to 5 m
• Multi-monitor desktop arrangements requiring medium-length cabling
• Home office and corporate workstations where a longer DisplayPort run is needed
• AV setups requiring single-cable transmission of high-resolution video and audio

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 compatible
• Length: 5 metres
• Signal type: Digital video and audio
• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male
• Intended use: Desktop and monitor connectivity for high-resolution displays

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on your computer or graphics card and the other end to the DisplayPort input on your monitor or display device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch (if present) engages. After connection, select the correct input source in the monitor menu and configure display settings in the operating system or graphics driver for desired resolution, refresh rate and multi-monitor arrangement.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. When using high resolutions or refresh rates, verify that both the source device and display support the desired settings and update graphics drivers if necessary.
