Cable DisplayPort ShiverPeaks Basic-S 1m

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S DisplayPort Cable 1m is a 1 metre, 7.1 mm diameter video and audio cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends. Designed for reliable transmission between DisplayPort-enabled devices, this single-pack cable supports high-quality digital video and multichannel audio over a compact, flexible black jacket. It is intended for straightforward point-to-point connections such as desktop monitors, laptops with DisplayPort output, docking stations and projectors where a short, well-shielded cable is required.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable combines a slim 7.1 mm profile with secure DisplayPort connectors for stable signal transfer. The one-metre length reduces excess cable clutter while allowing comfortable placement of devices on a desk or in a workspace. The black outer sheath provides a neutral appearance compatible with most office and home setups. The cable is engineered to maintain digital video and audio integrity across the link, providing a consistent and interference-resistant connection for typical display setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a DisplayPort monitor
• Linking a laptop or docking station to a projector
• Short-range desktop display setups where a 1 m cable is sufficient
• Replacing or adding a simple, reliable DisplayPort connection in offices or home workstations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Cable diameter: 7.1 mm
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Colour: Black
• Pack quantity: 1 cable

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the DisplayPort output on your source device and the other connector to the DisplayPort input on the display device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch (if present) clicks and the connection feels secure. After connection, select the appropriate input on the display and configure display settings on the source device as needed for resolution and audio routing. For reliable performance avoid pinching the cable and route it so it is not under tension.

Recommendations

For best results use the cable for short-distance connections up to 1 metre, avoid sharp bends near the connector ends, and keep the cable away from high-power electrical sources to minimise potential interference.
