Cable DisplayPort ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3m DisplayPort cable provides a reliable wired connection between DisplayPort-equipped devices. With a three-meter length and robust connectors, the cable supports high-resolution video and high refresh rates for gaming, multimedia playback, and professional displays. The cable is designed for stable signal transmission and flexible placement in home or office setups.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3m cable combines a durable connector design with consistent signal integrity to minimise flicker and artefacts. Its 3 m length gives greater freedom for device placement without the need for adapters or signal extenders. Constructed to maintain compatibility with DisplayPort standards, it supports high resolutions and smooth frame rates while preserving straightforward plug-and-play operation.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs to external monitors or multi-monitor rigs
• Linking gaming laptops or consoles to high-refresh-rate displays
• Connecting workstations used for video and photo editing
• Home theater and multimedia systems requiring high-definition output

Key specifications

• Cable type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector finish: high-quality metal/plastic combination for secure fit
• Supports high resolutions and high refresh rates (DisplayPort standard compatibility)
• Signal transmission: designed for stable digital video and audio transfer

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on your source device (PC, laptop, or compatible console) and plug the other end into the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the locking latch (if present) clicks into place for a secure connection. Select the appropriate input on the display and configure resolution and refresh rate in the device's display settings to match the monitor capabilities.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable away from high-interference power cables and avoid sharp bends. Use display settings to verify the resolution and refresh rate supported by both source and display. If using long cable runs beyond 3 m or multiple adapters, consider active or certified high-bandwidth cables to preserve signal quality.
