Plug one HDMI Type A male connector into the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu‑ray player, game console or laptop) and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). If using ARC, connect the cable to the HDMI ARC port on the display and the corresponding ARC input on the AV receiver or soundbar, then enable ARC in device settings. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input to begin signal transmission.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and tightly coiling the cable; keep the length under tension-free conditions and use HDMI ports labelled ARC when using Audio Return Channel. Confirm device HDMI version compatibility if using advanced features or high frame‑rate/resolution modes.
