The ROLINE 11.44.5731 HDMI cable is a 1 m HDMI Type A Male to Male lead in black, designed for standard home and office AV connections. The cable features HDMI Type A connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission. It supports 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC) functionality, enabling a streamlined connection between displays, set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and AV receivers.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a compact 1 m length suitable for close-proximity device pairing while reducing cable clutter. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability, helping to sustain clear audio and video signals. Support for 3D and ARC increases compatibility with modern AV equipment, and the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure broad device support.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players or streaming devices at short distances
• Linking monitors or projectors to laptops and desktops with HDMI Type A ports
• Integrating a TV with an AV receiver using ARC for simplified audio return
• Replacing an existing short HDMI lead in home entertainment or meeting-room setups

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Cable length: 1 m
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Supported features: 3D and Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of the source device (such as a Blu-ray player, set-top box or PC) and the other plug to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. If using ARC, connect the cable between the ARC-compatible HDMI port on the TV and the ARC-enabled port on the AV receiver or soundbar, then enable ARC in both devices’ audio settings. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct HDMI input to establish the AV signal.

Recommendations

For optimal results, avoid excessive bending or twisting of the cable and keep the length appropriate for the installation to minimize signal loss. When using ARC, verify that both connected devices support ARC and that firmware is up to date to ensure compatibility with audio formats.
