The ShiverPeaks 77472-SPP 2m HDMI Cable provides a straightforward solution for connecting HDMI-compatible devices over a 2 meter span. It has male HDMI Type A connectors on both ends, gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance, and supports a data transfer rate of up to 8.16 Gbit/s. The cable’s blue jacket offers a distinct visual appearance suitable for home entertainment setups and desktop installations.

Advantages

This HDMI cable combines a practical 2 m length with standard HDMI Type A connectivity on both ends, enabling easy plug-and-play linking between TVs, monitors, projectors, game consoles and media players. Gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and help maintain a stable digital signal. The cable’s rated data transfer rate supports high-definition video and multi-channel audio transmission for common home and office applications. The blue outer jacket provides a visible, organized cable run while maintaining a slim and flexible profile.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or streaming devices to HDTVs
• Linking gaming consoles to monitors or TVs
• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to external displays and projectors
• Home theater and AV setups requiring a 2 meter HDMI run

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Data transfer rate: up to 8.16 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: blue outer jacket
• Cable type: HDMI digital video and audio cable

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or in a standby state before connecting. Firmly insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Power on the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. For optimal signal integrity, avoid sharp bends, kinks or heavy compression along the cable run and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the 2 m HDMI cable for distances within its rated length and avoid daisy-chaining multiple passive cables. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or debris and clean gently if necessary. If you require higher bandwidth for very high refresh rates or resolutions beyond typical HD/Full HD use cases, consider a cable rated for higher transfer speeds.
