Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks 77478-10 A a A 10 m

The ShiverPeaks 77478-10 HDMI cable is a 10-meter HDMI A-to-A connection cable designed to carry uncompressed digital video and multi-channel audio between HDMI-equipped devices. Its 6 mm outer diameter jacket and gold-plated contacts ensure a stable physical connection and improved contact corrosion resistance for typical home or professional AV setups. The cable is intended for situations where extended reach is required without active signal conversion.

Advantages

This HDMI cable supports standard HDMI A-to-A connectivity with gold-plated contacts to reduce oxidation and improve signal contact reliability. The 6 mm outer diameter provides a balance of flexibility and mechanical protection suitable for routed installations behind furniture or through cable channels. The 10 m length enables placement of displays and source devices at greater distances while keeping a single-cable solution for audio and video transmission.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, monitors and projectors to Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or media players
• Home theatre installations where the source and display are separated by several metres
• Conference rooms and classrooms requiring a simple digital AV connection over an extended distance
• Routing behind furniture, in wall cavities or in cable conduits where a flexible yet protected cable is needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI A (male) to HDMI A (male)
• Length: 10 metres
• Cable outer diameter: approximately 6 mm
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Signal type: digital audio and video (uncompressed HDMI signals)

How to use

Connect one HDMI A plug to the HDMI output of the source device and the other HDMI A plug to the HDMI input of the display or AV receiver. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to the stop to establish a reliable connection. When installing long runs, avoid sharp bending or kinking of the cable and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large transformers or high-current AC wiring. For wall or conduit installations, route the cable with appropriate strain relief at both ends.

Recommendations

For best results with long passive HDMI runs, use equipment with HDMI handshake tolerance for extended cable lengths and verify supported video resolutions and refresh rates for your source and display. If experiencing signal loss or instability at higher resolutions, consider using a certified active cable or an HDMI signal booster suitable for the required resolution and distance.
