Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks Basic-S 2 m

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S 2m HDMI cable is a 2-metre black connection cable with HDMI Type A plugs on both ends, designed for high-bandwidth audio and video transmission. Supporting a data transfer rate of 48 Gbit/s, this cable is compatible with modern HDMI features including 3D video and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Gold-plated contacts provide reliable signal integrity and corrosion resistance, while the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers.

Advantages

This HDMI cable combines a high transfer rate with standard full-size HDMI connectors for broad device compatibility. The 2 m length offers reach for typical home and office setups without excess slack. Gold-plated contacts improve connector durability and help maintain stable signal transfer. With support for 3D and ARC, the cable covers common multimedia and home-theatre requirements.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and streaming devices
• Linking monitors and laptops for high-definition video output
• Connecting AV receivers or soundbars using ARC for simplified audio routing
• Home theatre and 3D video setups that require 48 Gbit/s bandwidth

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A on both ends (Standard)
• Data transfer rate: 48 Gbit/s
• Features supported: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each HDMI Type A connector into the corresponding HDMI port on your source device and display. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain optimal contact with the gold-plated pins. For ARC functionality, connect the cable between the TV’s HDMI ARC port and the ARC-enabled port on the receiver or soundbar, and enable ARC in the devices’ audio settings if required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and physical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent signal quality, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use the 2 m length for setups where the distance between devices is moderate; consider a different length for longer runs. Verify that connected devices support the desired features (3D, ARC) and configured settings to take full advantage of the 48 Gbit/s capability.
