The ShiverPeaks BS10-05055 HDMI Cable is a 5 m black HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed to link displays and AV devices over a longer distance without moving equipment close together. The cable uses standard HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends and is finished in black for unobtrusive installation.

Advantages

This 5 m HDMI cable offers a reliable physical connection for transmitting high-definition video and audio over a modest extended distance. The cable’s standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with a wide range of consumer electronics. Its black design blends with typical AV setups and reduces visual distraction behind displays. Built with corrosion-resistant contact surfaces, it supports consistent signal transfer for 3D content and common HDMI applications.

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu-ray player, game console or laptop) and plug the other end into the HDMI input of your display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. Adjust the display resolution and audio output settings on the source device as needed to match the capabilities of your display.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from large sources of electrical interference and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductors. If using with high-resolution video formats, verify the source and display settings to ensure compatible resolution and refresh rate. Regularly inspect connector ends for debris and clean contacts gently if required.
