Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS30-02495 40 m

The ShiverPeaks BS30-02495 HDMI Cable 40m is a long-reach HDMI connection solution designed for transmitting high-quality audio and video signals between devices with HDMI Type A (Standard) and HDMI Type D (Micro) interfaces. The cable is 40 meters in length, finished in black and fitted with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable connections. With support for 3D and Audio Return Channel (ARC) and a stated data transfer rate of 17.819 Gbit/s, it is suitable for extended runs where a single long cable is preferred over multiple adapters or extenders.

Advantages

The cable’s 40 m length enables placement flexibility for displays, cameras, and other AV equipment without the need for additional signal boosters when used within its performance limits. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact stability for long-term use. Support for 3D and ARC allows the cable to carry both immersive video formats and two-way audio signals between compatible devices. The black jacket provides a neutral appearance for integration into installation environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting displays, projectors, or capture devices to cameras or media players with HDMI Type A and Micro HDMI ports
• Home theater setups where a long HDMI run is required
• Temporary or permanent AV installations in conference rooms, classrooms, or exhibition spaces

How to use

Identify the HDMI Type A (Standard) end and the HDMI Type D (Micro) end, then insert each connector into the corresponding port on your devices. Ensure device power is off or inputs are set correctly before connection to avoid signal issues. After connecting, power on the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on your display or receiver. If the devices support ARC, enable ARC in device settings to use the return audio functionality. Check that cable routing avoids sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain signal integrity over the 40 m run.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or strong EMI sources. Use gentle loops rather than sharp bends and secure the cable with clips or ties to prevent strain at the connectors. If signals are unstable at long distances in your installation, consider using an active HDMI extender or signal booster compatible with your devices.
