Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS30-02505 50 m Type-A a Type-D

The ShiverPeaks BS30-02505 HDMI Cable is a 50 m HDMI lead with a Standard Type A connector at one end and a Micro Type D connector at the other. Designed for long-distance connections, it supports up to 18 Gbit/s data transfer for high-definition video and multi-channel audio. The cable is finished in black and features gold-plated contacts to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion over time.

Advantages

This 50 m HDMI cable provides a single-cable solution for transmitting high-bandwidth video and audio signals across extended runs. The 18 Gbit/s throughput supports high-definition formats and ensures consistent frame and color transmission. Gold-plated contacts offer improved conductivity and resistance to oxidation, while the combination of Standard Type A and Micro Type D connectors enables direct connection between full-size HDMI sources and devices with micro HDMI ports without adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras, tablets or compact devices with Micro HDMI output to displays or switchers
• Long-distance runs in home theater installations where a micro-HDMI device is used
• Professional AV setups requiring extended cable length without active extenders
• Temporary event installations where a compact-source device must be placed away from the screen

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Connector A: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector B: HDMI Type D (Micro)
• Maximum data transfer rate: 18 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A end to the display, AV receiver or source device that has a full-size HDMI port and insert the Micro HDMI Type D end into the compact device such as a camera, tablet or other micro-HDMI-equipped unit. Ensure both devices are powered off during connection to avoid signal spikes. After connecting, power on the source and the display and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display device. Verify resolution and audio settings in the device menus to match the capabilities of the connected display.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and kinks along the cable run and keep the cable away from high-interference sources such as large power cables or radio transmitters. If the installation requires runs longer than 50 m or involves multiple devices, consider using signal extenders or active HDMI solutions compatible with micro-HDMI endpoints.
