Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77475-FERRIT 5 m

The ShiverPeaks BS77475-FERRIT HDMI Cable 5m provides a reliable wired connection for transmitting high-definition audio and video between HDMI Type A devices. This 5-metre cable features gold-plated contacts and a black outer jacket, and supports data transfer at up to 13.364 Gbit/s. It is compatible with 3D content and is intended for use where extended reach is required without signal degradation.

Advantages

The cable's gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for consistent signal transfer. Its 5 m length allows flexible placement of displays, receivers and source devices while the ferrite core (as indicated in the model name) reduces high-frequency interference to maintain signal integrity. The black finish is intended to blend with typical AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, projectors and monitors to Blu-ray players, media players and game consoles
• Home theatre setups that require a longer cable run
• AV installations where 3D signal support is needed
• Replacing damaged or shorter HDMI cables with a 5 m option

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A
• Cable length: 5 metres
• Data transfer rate: up to 13.364 Gbit/s
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display or AV receiver. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends or pinching. For best results, power on the devices after connections are made and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If a device does not detect a signal, check cable seating and try a different HDMI input or source to isolate the issue.

Recommendations

For stable performance, avoid kinking the cable and keep the ferrite end unobstructed. Use device settings to enable 3D modes when required and ensure source and display support matching resolutions and refresh rates. For long-term reliability, periodically inspect connectors for dirt or corrosion and clean gently with a dry cloth if necessary.
