Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks SHVP BS1056185

The ShiverPeaks SHVP BS1056185 HDMI Cable is a 1.8m connection lead with a standard HDMI Type A plug on one end and a Mini HDMI Type C plug on the other. Designed for digital audio and video transmission, the cable supports 4K resolution and is finished in black with gold-plated contacts to improve signal contact and resist corrosion. Its compact Mini HDMI connector makes it suitable for connecting cameras, tablets or portable devices to TVs, monitors or capture devices without requiring adapters.

Advantages

This HDMI cable delivers high-bandwidth digital transmission capable of carrying 4K video signals along with multichannel audio over a single lead. Gold-plated contacts provide improved conductivity and reduced risk of oxidation compared with standard plating. The 1.8m length balances reach and cable management for home and studio setups while the combination of full-size Type A and Mini Type C connectors enables direct connection between consumer electronics and display equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras or camcorders with Mini HDMI (Type C) to TVs, monitors or capture cards
• Linking tablets or portable devices to external displays for playback or presentations
• Home theater setups requiring 4K signal transmission over a short-to-medium cable length
• Recording or streaming workflows where a stable HDMI connection between device and capture device is needed

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type C (Mini) end to the Mini HDMI port on your camera, tablet or other portable device and insert the HDMI Type A end into the HDMI input of your TV, monitor or capture device. Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting where recommended by the device manufacturers, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the display device. Check display settings on source and target devices to confirm 4K output if supported.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K performance, avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent sharp kinks. If using the cable in a recording or streaming setup, verify secure seating of connectors and minimise movement during operation. For devices that require alternative adapter types, use a compatible, passive adapter rated for high-bandwidth video signals.
