Cable HDMI VALUE 14.99.3479 15 m HDMI Type-A negro

The VALUE 14.99.3479 15 m HDMI Type A cable is an active optical HDMI link designed for transmitting high-resolution video and multichannel audio between devices up to 15 metres apart. Supporting HDMI 2.0 and 3D formats, and capable of UHD 3840x2160 at 60 Hz, this black cable uses HDMI Type A (standard) connectors on both ends and integrates active optical cable (AOC) technology to maintain signal integrity over longer runs without an external power supply.

Advantages

The active optical design provides low signal attenuation and supports high data rates required for 4K@60Hz video and 3D content while staying lightweight and flexible for easier installation. Because the cable does not need an external power source, it is simple to set up and can be routed through cable ducts or conduits where space is limited. The use of standard HDMI Type A connectors ensures broad compatibility with TVs, projectors, monitors and computers that accept HDMI inputs.

Suitable for

• Connecting UHD TVs to media players, set-top boxes or AV receivers where a 15 m run is required
• Linking projectors to laptops or media sources in conference rooms and classrooms
• Extending HDMI connections between desktop PCs or workstations and external displays
• Installations requiring routing through cable ducts or behind furniture where a lightweight cable is advantageous

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (standard) on both ends
• HDMI version support: HDMI 2.0
• Maximum supported resolution: UHD 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz
• 3D format support: Yes
• Cable technology: Active Optical Cable (AOC), no external power required
• Colour: Black
• Weight: approximately 0.4601 kg

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, PC or media streamer) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input of the display device such as a TV, monitor or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct HDMI input. For best results, set the source device to output at the desired resolution and refresh rate (for example 3840x2160 at 60 Hz) in its display settings. Route the cable through ducts or along channels as needed, avoiding sharp bends or kinks that could stress the AOC fibres.

Recommendations

Use the cable in indoor environments and avoid exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures. Maintain gentle bends with a radius larger than the cable thickness, and avoid repeated flexing at the connector ends. When troubleshooting signal issues, verify device settings and try reseating connections; the AOC design typically provides stable transmission for long-distance HDMI links without additional amplification.
