Cable Lindy 3m HDMI a DVI, Black Line

The Lindy 3m HDMI to DVI Cable is a 3-metre connection cable with a standard HDMI Type A plug on one end and a DVI-D connector on the other. Designed as part of Lindy’s Black Line connectivity range, this cable provides a reliable, entry-level solution for connecting HDMI sources such as PCs, laptops or media players to DVI displays including monitors and projectors. It is RoHS compliant and certified under REACH and UL 36273.

Advantages

Triple-shielded construction with 30AWG tinned copper conductors offers improved signal performance and corrosion resistance, while nickel-plated shells and 24K gold-plated contacts maintain stable contact quality. The PVC outer jacket includes an integrated finger grip for easier insertion and removal, large thumb screws secure the DVI connector without tools, and a flexible strain relief extends cable life. Supports resolutions up to 1920x1200@60Hz, including 1080p HDTV formats.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs or laptops with HDMI outputs to DVI monitors
• Linking media players or set-top boxes to DVI-equipped projectors
• Home and office display setups requiring a 3 m cable

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of your source device and attach the DVI-D connector to the DVI input of the display. Tighten the DVI thumb screws by hand to secure the connection; a screwdriver is not required. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid signal issues. After connection, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cable for uncompressed digital video; DVI-D does not carry audio, so a separate audio connection is required if sound is needed. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable, and keep the cable away from high-interference sources to maintain signal integrity.
