Cable Mini DisplayPort HDMI Type-A Kramer Electronics C-MDP/HM/UHD-3

The Kramer C−MDP/HM/UHD-3 is an active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Type A cable designed to connect Mini DisplayPort-equipped PCs or laptops to HDMI displays without additional adapters. The 0.9 m cable supports true signal conversion when the source does not provide DP++ and operates with either DisplayPort single-mode or dual-mode outputs. It supports up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) video resolution and HDCP 2.2 for protected content playback.

Advantages

This Kramer cable provides active conversion from Mini DisplayPort to HDMI, eliminating the need for separate adapters. Its support for 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and HDCP 2.2 ensures compatibility with high-resolution displays and protected content. The compact 0.9 m length makes it suitable for desktop or entertainment setups where short runs are preferred.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or PCs with Mini DisplayPort outputs to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Home entertainment systems requiring UHD video at 4K@60Hz
• Workstations and meeting rooms where a short, active conversion cable is needed

Recommendations

For best results, use with displays and source devices that support 4K@60Hz and HDCP 2.2. Keep cable length short to reduce signal loss and avoid using in-line adapters that may affect conversion performance.
