Cable óptico activo DELOCK USB-C a DisplayPort 81604 4K 60Hz, USB-C (Alt Mode) a DP, 1,8 m

The DELOCK Active Optical Cable USB-C to DisplayPort 81604 is a 1.8 m cable that converts a USB-C output using DisplayPort Alt Mode to a DisplayPort input, supporting video resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz. Its fiber-optic construction reduces signal attenuation over distance and provides immunity to electromagnetic interference, enabling stable high-bandwidth video transmission between laptops, tablets and compatible USB-C devices and DisplayPort displays, projectors or docking stations.

Advantages

The active optical design enables long-reach transmission with minimal signal loss and consistent 4K60 performance. The cable supports DisplayPort signaling over USB-C Alt Mode, maintaining high bandwidth for video and multi-channel audio. The fiber core and shielding deliver strong resistance to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the plug-and-play connection requires no additional drivers. The 1.8 m length offers flexible routing behind desks or through workspaces without compromising image quality.

Suitable for

• Connecting modern laptops or tablets with USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) to DisplayPort monitors
• Extending video connections to projectors and large-format displays in meeting rooms
• Use with docking stations that accept DisplayPort input for multi-monitor setups
• Environments with significant electromagnetic interference where copper cables may degrade signal

Key specifications

• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC)
• Connector A: USB-C (supports DisplayPort Alt Mode)
• Connector B: DisplayPort
• Maximum resolution: 4K (3840×2160) at 60 Hz
• Length: 1.8 m
• Transmission medium: optical fiber core with reinforced jacket
• Audio support: multi-channel digital audio over DisplayPort
• Electromagnetic immunity: high, due to fiber-optic transmission

How to use

Insert the USB-C connector into a source device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Plug the DisplayPort connector into the display, projector or docking station input. The cable is designed for plug-and-play operation; the connected devices should automatically negotiate the video signal and audio channels. For optimal results, ensure both devices support the targeted resolution and refresh rate and that connectors are fully seated. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends to preserve the fiber core.

Recommendations

Place the cable away from strong mechanical stress and avoid repeated tight bending. Verify that the source device provides DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C and that display firmware or drivers are up to date for full 4K60 compatibility. For long-term installations, secure the cable with gentle clips or cable management to prevent strain on connectors.
