Cable óptico activo DisplayPort ACT 15 metros conector macho DisplayPort - conector macho DisplayPort

The ACT DisplayPort Active Optical Cable AK4031 combines multimode optical fiber and copper conductors to transmit DisplayPort signals reliably over long distances up to 15 m (available up to 100 m in the product family). The cable features male DisplayPort connectors on both ends, supports DisplayPort 1.2a compatibility, and arrives coiled for flexible, easy installation. It is suitable for transmitting high-resolution video and audio between source devices and displays without signal degradation.

Advantages

The hybrid construction (multimode optical fiber plus copper) enables long-distance transmission with minimal data loss while maintaining necessary auxiliary and hot-plug channels over copper. The cable supports HBR rates up to 5.4 Gbps per lane with a total bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps and is plug-and-play for simple setup. It is supplied on a coil, which improves handling and installation in professional and home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops or media players to DisplayPort monitors and projectors
• Long-distance signal runs in meeting rooms, auditoriums and control rooms
• AV installations where high-resolution 4K@60Hz video is required

Key specifications

• Model: ACT AK4031
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: Male DisplayPort – Male DisplayPort
• DisplayPort compatibility: DP 1.2a
• Bandwidth: HBR up to 5.4 Gbps per lane, total 21.6 Gbps

How to use

Connect one male DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, laptop, media player) and the other male DisplayPort connector to the target display or projector. No drivers are required; the cable operates as plug & play. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate. Avoid sharp bends in the optical section and secure the cable along the routing path to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K@60Hz performance, confirm that both source and display support DP 1.2a and HDCP requirements. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; use cable management to maintain signal integrity over the 15 m length.
