Cable patch Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 20 m naranja

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 20m patch cord is a high-performance network cable designed for data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 20 m orange cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and reliable connections for demanding network environments and 10GBase-T applications.

Advantages

The Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP design offers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower category cables, enabling stable 10 Gbps transmission over 20 m. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the orange jacket improves cable identification in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and high-speed LAN installations
• Server rooms, data centers and telecommunications cabinets
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch or switch-to-server connections
• Environments where reduced interference and clear cable identification are required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network device (switch, router or server) and the other connector to the target port on a patch panel or another network device. Ensure both ports support 10GBase-T if full 10 Gbps performance is required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for best performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test the installed link with suitable certification or testing equipment for Cat.6A standards and avoid bundling many powered cables together with the patch cord over long distances. Replace the cable if connectors are damaged or if consistent errors are observed during operation.
