Cable Prokord TP-CABLE S/FTP CAT.6 SHIELDED LSZH RJ45 15M GRAU

The Prokord TP-CABLE S/FTP CAT.6 SHIELDED LSZH RJ45 15M GREY Cable is a 15-meter shielded Ethernet cable engineered for high-speed wired networks. Built to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ45 terminations, it supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for home, office, and professional network environments where reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable throughput are required.

Advantages

This shielded Cat6 cable combines overall braid shielding with individual foil around each pair (S/FTP), which lowers crosstalk and protects against external electromagnetic interference. The LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen) jacket minimizes harmful emissions in case of fire and is suitable for installations in confined or public spaces. Fitted with standard RJ45 connectors, the cable provides plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections in home and small office networks
• Server room patching and switch-to-switch links
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, VoIP and online gaming
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference or improved signal integrity

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (shielded)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid plus foil-wrapped pairs
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Jacket: LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Color: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to your network device (router, switch or network interface) and the other end to the target device. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise for optimal performance. For permanent installations, secure the cable with suitable clips or cable management accessories and leave service loops to facilitate future reconfiguration.

Recommendations

When installing the Prokord Cat6 S/FTP cable, maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines, and terminate using compatible RJ45 jacks or patch panels that support shielded connections to preserve grounding and shielding effectiveness.
