Cable PWM sharing Arctic PST Cable Rev. 2 para 4 ventiladores PWM, conectores PWM de 4 pines, negro

ARCTIC PST Cable Rev. 2 - PWM Sharing Cable for 4 Fans, 4-pin PWM, 4-pin PWM, Male, Female, Straight, Straight

Improved Cable Management

The 70 cm long PST cable allows you to simplify your cable management, making it easy to place fans in any position within your housing.

Synchronous Fan Control

Your set PWM signal is passed on synchronously to all fans connected to the PST Cable. The RPM of the first fan base are read out and returned to your system.

Expand Your Ventilation

The PST Cable allows you to connect up to 4 case fans to a single header, even if you don't have enough fan headers on your mainboard.

How to use

Connect the single male 4-pin PWM plug to a motherboard PWM fan header and attach up to four 4-pin fan connectors to the cable branches. Ensure correct orientation of the 4-pin connectors so the PWM pin and power pins align with the motherboard and fans. After connection, configure fan control in the motherboard BIOS or system monitoring software to manage fan curves and target temperatures. Verify that total current drawn by the connected fans does not exceed the motherboard header specifications.

Recommendations

Use the PST Cable Rev. 2 when coordinating multiple fans from one PWM header; check the motherboard’s maximum fan current per header and distribute higher-current fans across separate headers if necessary. Route the cable to avoid obstructing airflow or interfering with moving parts, and secure branches with cable ties for improved cable management.
